My 1983 Mercedes 240D gets oil changes every 3 months and BG MOA® is always used. It has made the engine run smoother and quieter which I think comes from the chemicals used to make BG MOA. I have noticed over the years before BG was used the timing chain had residue build-up, but since using BG MOA the chain is clean and shiny. That is a good indicator of why the engine runs so well—28 MPG; not bad for a car almost 40 years old and 350,000 miles.
