Hey guys. It’s Jon Hansen with Tech Talk.
Today we’re gonna talk about wiper blades and when you should replace them.
If you don’t know when to replace your wiper blades, this video’s for you. Every six to twelve months is a pretty common time for most people to replace wiper blades. But, if you use them really frequently, every three months might be a good idea.
If you’ve never looked at how your wiper blades wear, one of the easiest ways to tell is if you take your wiper blade and you look at the surface. If there’s cracking or uneven surfaces, or when you function the wiper blades, if it’s streaking or chattering across your windshield, it’s usually time to replace them. You never really want to be caught out in a storm or rain and not have any visibility on the highway.
